What General Pest Control Covers
General Pest Control is designed for common crawling pests that move through living areas, roof edges, garden boundaries and other accessible parts of a residential property. The booking form uses property class, size, storeys and treatment scope to select the relevant price rather than applying one flat estimate to every Sydney home.
A full House, Duplex, Townhouse, Terrace or Villa booking normally combines agreed indoor and outdoor treatment. Apartment and Unit bookings cover the private internal area and balcony, not shared corridors, bin rooms, foyers or other building-managed spaces. Indoor-only and outdoor-only options are available for eligible House and Duplex bookings, with their different cover conditions displayed before payment.
The standard scope covers large and American cockroaches, spiders, moths, beetles, crickets, silverfish, ticks and ants. German cockroaches and active wasp nests need their own targeted service because the inspection points, products and treatment sequence are different.

Ticks

Before the appointment
- Make sure the booked areas are accessible, including gates, side access and rooms that need treatment.
- Move pets to a safe, separate area during the visit and keep them away from treated surfaces until they are dry.
- Clear small items, toys and pet bowls from floors and benchtops in treatment areas.
- Arrange for young children to be away during treatment and for the advised re-entry period.
- Add gate, pet, parking and other access details to the booking notes before the appointment.
- Mow lawns and trim garden growth along fence lines and the property perimeter when outdoor treatment is included.
- Move firewood, pots and stored items away from external walls where practical.
- Store children's outdoor toys and pet food bowls away from treatment areas.
After the appointment
- Wait until treated surfaces are dry and follow the technician's service-specific re-entry advice.
- Avoid wiping or cleaning treated surfaces for at least 7 days unless the technician gives different instructions.
- A short increase in pest activity can occur as pests leave harbourage areas after treatment.
- Use the Warranty Policy or contact support if covered pest activity continues after the expected settling period.
- Keep children and pets away from treated outdoor areas until dry; the technician will confirm timing on the day.
- Avoid hosing treated external walls and garden edges for at least 2 weeks.
